Asher is at the most fun age... starting to say more and mimic what we do. I can't believe how quickly he has picked up on things. I never realized how smart a toddler could be. I know as first time parents, it's easy to be amazed an astonished as our child learns and grows. I'm sure the milestones are not new to many of you. But, I still feel the need to share them.
Asher has been able to tell me what a Cat, Dog, Cow, and Monkey says for quite some time. I've been trying to teach him other animals, but I think he was struggling with forming the sound rather than not remembering. The other night while giving him a bath I was asking him what animals say and getting the normal reply. Then I asked him what a fish says, to my utter joy he proudly says "bloop, bloop, bloop" and yes I taught him that one! I couldn't stop laughing and cheering for him, I couldn't believe he remembered and was finally able to repeat the sound to me. He of course enjoys every minute of attention I give. I'm proud to say that Asher now knows what a sheep, fish, and snake says! Yay. He is so much fun, and I have really enjoyed playing, teaching, and loving this little boy. Every day he shares something new with us, and we can't help but cheer for him.
Last Sunday was his first day in Nursery. At first I was nervous, because I hadn't left him alone in there before, and the last few times we've sat in he's been bitten or hit. But when I picked him up after church Asher received rave reviews. Everyone couldn't believe how funny he was; dancing around during music time and entertaining all who watched. He has such a sweet spirit about him, his smile infects everyone he meets. He is truly my pride and joy. I hope I'm not creating a monster!

How cute is that? He is growing up fast, thanks for the update. Bloop? That's a good one. Give him a hug for grandma.
I'm so glad you're back blogging! I've been checking regularly and hoping! He's so cute! And I cannot believe he's already old enough for nursery! What a blessing it makes for parents on Sunday though.
Brandy, you are tagged, see my blog for info.
